the Recycle Centers will be closed.

Both Recycle Centers

The office in Loves Park will be closed

Keep Northern Illinois Beautiful Recycle Centers are staffed by volunteers like you

and funded in part thanks to donations from sponsors, including:

  • MembersAlliance Credit Union
  • Rockford Green Team of UTC Aerospace Systems employees
  • Speciality Screw Corp. 

Note:  Both Recycle Centers close for weather emergencies, and will be closed December 24, 2016.

NEW — ONLY at Rockford Center — Freon Appliances accepted

$20 cash fee per Freon item, you unload: 

  • Refrigerators
  • Freezers
  • Air Conditioners
  • Dehumidifiers
