Free disposal of up to 2 Televisions or Computer Monitors (CRTs) per vehicle,

TV parts or partially disassembled units included.

You must be able to lift and place units in designated bin as directed. Bring help if needed. 

Rockford Recycle Center also accepts appliances containing refrigerant (Freon); $20 cash

  • Fee per each item funds refrigerant removal and certification tag.

Roscoe Recycle Center DOES NOT accept TVs, Computer Monitors, or Freon Appliances.

Keep Northern Illinois Beautiful Recycle Centers provide a community service,

staffed by volunteers — your help is needed!

Shift can be 2.5 hours or up to 4 hours, as often as your schedule allows.

Fall Clothing Drive Sat. Oct. 14

Volunteers will accept clean, bagged clothing and textiles at 8 locations from 9 a.m. to Noon.

Keep Northern Illinois Beautiful accepts items that are clean and dry, although they may have rips or stains. In addition to men’s, women’s or children’s clothing, donations may include shoes, hats, belts, purses, soft-sided luggage, throw rugs, curtains, plush toys, sheets, blankets, pillows and towels. No carpeting or hangers please.
